Spire Healthcare is the second largest provider of private healthcare in the UK with 38 existing hospitals. This well respected healthcare provider chose Reflex Systems to provide full integrated life safety support including fire detection, access control and CCTV security across the whole hospital.
The Challenge
Using our comprehensive industry knowledge of the healthcare sector we were heavily involved throughout the 18-month programme to provide assistance with product choice, designing and installing the life safety support systems and delivering further operational benefits through intelligent building management
The life safety standards are critical with an opening date reliant on the successful completion and handover of the fire system and integrated technology
The Solution
We were awarded the contract for the 58-bed hospital after working closely with other key contractors. Reflex supplied, installed and commissioned Fire detection, IP CCTV and Intercom, Access Control and Intrusion Detection systems for the hospitals security and life safety needs.
The fire systems are latest generation Gent product which delivers exceptional performance with recognised low false alarm rates which is critical to building with 24/7 occupancy such as hospitals.
Alongside our expertise, our consultative approach has been advantageous to Spire Healthcare, working with them to add elements to benefit the hospital as the project progressed. The resulting state-of-the-art solution incorporates specialist technologies, is compliant to the latest standards and is perfectly suited to this premier healthcare facility.
