Due to the increase in popularity and success of their company within the UK market, DECIEM have now opened an office, warehousing, and distribution facility in Nottingham.
The Challenge
DECIEM specified Bosch CCTV system and Kantech electronic door access control system which mirrored their existing systems at the company headquarters facility in Toronto. Both the UK and Canada systems needed to sync for operational and management needs. Customer research lead them to Reflex as an experienced, fully certified supplier and installer of Bosch CCTV and Kantech electronic access solutions to work on design and output needs from the outset.
The Solution
Reflex supplied and installed Bosch CCTV cameras, including the latest generation 360°flexidomes which feature Intelligent Video Analytics (IVA) for enhanced round- the- clock security monitoring. IVA has been specifically designed for use in demanding environments and is able to differentiate between genuine security events and known false triggers. The cameras installed incorporate one-way audio for message broadcast if needed; combined with 360-degree panoramic images and integral edge video recording.
All doors throughout the offices and warehousing facility were fitted with securely encrypted electronic access control providing a fully managed card access solution for both staff and visitors. This system provides a comprehensive audit trail, cyber secure remote access to door control and system configuration and the ability to issue temporary credentials and remove rights quickly and easily when needed. 2021 also brings Cloud hosting options.
The security hardware and server were commissioned on to the existing communications network and now works seamlessly with their headquarters based in Canada, fully satisfying the customer requirements.
