Job Title: Sales and Marketing Coordinator
Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire
Salary: £20,000 – £24,000
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time, 37.5 hours Mon-Fri

We are looking for a business savvy, enthusiastic and driven individual, able to work within a fast-paced environment, capable of managing deadlines with a team player approach. We are looking for a creative thinker who can recommend and implement solutions, combined with a desire to play a part in a successful sales team, has an outgoing personality with strong written and verbal communication skills. There will be a need for occasional attendance at customer meetings and presentations, therefore personal presentation is important.
Duties Include:
- Managing the sales enquiry process in support of customer requirements and deadlines
- Using business software to track enquiries through to orders, as well as producing reports
- Providing support with tender bids, including collating information and assisting with the timely completion and returning of information via email and portals
- Producing marketing content and liaising with the team to create new literature and campaigns, as well as presence on social media and website updates
- Assist the Commercial Director with organising and attending hospitality events for the sales team and liaising with colleagues for arranging travel and hotel bookings etc.
- Collate and report sales figures and forecasts to the Commercial Director in readiness for the monthly sales meetings.
- Attending meetings and documenting when required
- Establish new business opportunities via accreditation web portals and internal sales
Experience Required:
- IT literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft products and CRM systems
- Accurate typing and documentation presentation skills
- Strong numeracy, analytical, organisational and written skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional telephone manner
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of marketing principles
- Experience of problem solving and identifying solutions
- Able to organise, prioritise and work to deadlines
- Team player as well as being comfortable working independently
- A driven, pro-active self-starter with lots of energy
- Creative flair for producing written and visual content
- 2 years’ experience working in a similar role
