Systems Service Engineer

Responsibilities will include scheduled preventative maintenance activity, attendance for reactive system repairs and technical support as required at client sites.  Inclusion in the service call out rota to provide out of hours cover when required.

Candidates must have experience of working with mid to high end applications and integrated technologies, fault-finding from component to system level and working with both analogue and IP systems.  It would be of benefit if the applicant has experience of working with Panasonic, Bosch and Honeywell, Synectics, Access Control – GE Casi Rusco, Janus and Honeywell, as well as Galaxy, Scantronic and Texecom Intruder Systems. Gent Fire Alarm system experience would be advantageous but not essential. 

The candidate would be ideally located between Birmingham in the South and Leeds in the North.  Must be suitably qualified with at least 3 years experience, presentable, good communication and customer facing skills are essential.  Working within a dynamic team, candidates must be flexible as there will be opportunities to work within the engineered systems department and the potential to undertake commissioning activity.  Candidates must have a clean driving license, IPAF certificate, CSCS card and be willing to travel and stay away overnight on occasions.
